Tim Johnson has more than 30 years of experience in human resources. He has directed employee relations for Arizona bioscience organizations for about 14 of those years. Mirroring the rapid growth of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, Tim has skillfully led the accelerated expansion of employee bases at cutting-edge scientific organizations to meet aggressive research and production goals. He hired 125 distinguished employees during TGen’s first year. He doubled the size of the International Genomics Consortium and its affiliated companies from 40 to 80 dynamic employees in eight months.

While Tim is an expert in helping to launch start-ups, his talents expand to include strategic employee relations that transform a new organization into a leading bioscience institution with top-rated employees. His acumen in negotiating staff contracts, health insurance policies, and employee development cements an organization’s long-term success. In addition, Tim’s personal finesse creates lasting, positive relationships with colleagues, executives, partner organizations and professional contacts over a vast, nationwide network.

After leaving the corporate world, Tim has worked with small companies not needing a full-time Human Resources department.
